Romans, the kids on the ZX-6R site seem to really like the new look:

That's what I thought, the '10 had the green lowers but a black middle cowl....what were they thinking? The folks in KMC's styling department really need to get a clue, I'm amazed one of them didn't just bolt a set of the green lowers to an '09 and say "hey, maybe we outta build this....duhhhh". I never noticed the graceful arc of the fairing before, you will love the look, in person even better than the pictures, enjoy!

Wish they had done the new 10R like the 6r above, I'm not a fan of the new bikes styling.

Thanks Kruz she is on top of the world.

What do you think about the factory hugger in green ? If you look at pic above you can see with a full pipe the black Metal bottom pieces don't fit back on. So Will More Green Work to bring the BLK GRN theme together or is it to much ? Already has the green solo seat and green undertail. What's your thoughts. Opinions Please.

Romans, we may need to get Rooks opinion on this one as he is the artist but I think it looks great without the black exhaust fairings on there. When you get the green lowers, I think it's going to flow really well on that right side. I was thinking of a green hugger as well and also possibly doing the front fender in green. Need to stop after that though, too much green will be overwhelming. The green undertail looks fine.

The new 10R sits much lower than the old version, seat height is so low it makes you feel like you're on a chopper.

It sounds like your wife is excited about the new look, please post pics when everything is finished.

Romans, I like a passenger seat cover on any sport bike. That's a big plus on your 6r. Then the undertail...that is very nice. makes the whole thoing look complete without looking overburdened with extraneuos stuFF. The green lowers lookbetter than black although, I do like the black quite well as they are. I was having a hard time choosing but looking at Kruz's pics on previous page, I do like the green lowers better. Especially on the left side w/o pipe.

Right now, green says "FAIRING" on your bike. black says, "MECHANICAL." If you go with a green hugger, you will be emphasizing bodywork and obviously reducing the visual impact of the frame/engine/controls. If your hugger seems to match the bodywork in shape characteristics (is it shaped like a fairing piece or does it have a different sort of shape?), the green would work.

Personally, I think black for the hugger is best on the 6r. Let there be that large black area around the rear wheel to compliment the solid green faring look you are going for. There is a lot of mechanical stuff showing and the black flows along with the machine concept that is projected. I have seen colored huggers on 14s and busas. They work because they are shaped like a piece of the body.

theres my logic. Really, I think it's going to look great no matter what color hugger you have. (NOT PINk< I hOPE)

If you are going to have the small black belly area like Kruz's 6, i think that would be one more reason I would want to stay with a black hugger ---if it were my bike.
