Just put a16 tooth counter sprocket on. Now experiencing a very short slippage or(jump)after power shifting into2nd or 3rd gear. Doesn't fall out of gear but stumbles for a split second. Tech support peeps have heard of this issue but no one knows exactly why. The only cure was putting 17 back on. Anybody else ever have this issue? It's a 2012 zx14r

Got a 43 on the back experiencing the same thing...
The only cure is going 16 front 43 rear or stock 17 front 45 in the rear. But then the handling dynamics convert this bullet into a wheelie machine. It should also be noted that your ability to bullet the top of 6th with gearing changes significantly reduces your top speed. Since I hang out between 260 and 3 often, I went back to a 42 stock and stock front. Kawi has sorted out the gearing, I would not mess with it!

Of course you agree it's only after we chatted about this on the phone that you confirmed my suspicions. Well actually you warned me about the loss of top end and we both agreed that is a sacrifice we would not make in favour of a good low speed roll on!
