Alright. Since we are sharing vids.
Video of me racing at Summit Point WV on June 5th 2011 with WERA - Senior Superbike Middleweight Expert class.
I am not the one riding the bike with the video camera. I am on a 2008 R6 painted white, yellow, and black and my bike looks like a 2006 Yamaha R6 special edition.
You'll probably have to cut and paste the link below into your browser. I don't know how to embed the vids into the post. If anyone here can do it, please feel free to embed the vid in a subsequent posting.

In this video, my buddy Michel is riding a 2008 or '09 ZX6. We are racing at Summit Point, WV, on June 5th in the Senior Superbike Middleweight Expert class. There are Heavyweight Experts in front of us on the grid (different class), and there are Heavyweight and Middleweight Novices behind us on the grid, as well as a Vintage class. I think the vintage class was bikes from 1996 through 2002 or something like that. Some of you Scott Russell fans will note that there was a ZX7 at around the 10 minutes mark that Michel and I are lapping.
Michel and I raced together all last year, he on a 2006 GSXR6 and me on a 2006 R6. I won two regional championships last year and Michel never beat me, even though some races were decided by a wheel length.
Oh, one last thing, for those of you who don't know, the Senior Superbike class is only for riders that are at least 40 years of age. I am slightly older than the minimum requirement.....
Anyways, I go into T1 (that is Turn 1 for those of you who don't know) two bikes in front of Michel. His follows me and another racer around the first lap, then passes me on the brakes going into T1 on the 2nd lap at the .
I passed him on the outside of T10 going onto the front straight at the 4:08 mark, and you can just barely see me going by him through the outside corner of Michel's windscreen, then you see me pop out in front of him onto the front straight. So I carry more mid-corner speed than he does, pass him on the outside, only to lose to him down the front straight. Again. Urghhh!
Then I re-pass him on the outside of T3, and you can just barely see my helmet in the outside corner of his windscreen at the 4:41 mark and I pop out in front of him at the 4:45 mark heading down into T4. Again, more mid-corner speed.
Once again, Michel passes me at the end of the front straight at the 6:57 mark after gaining on me the whole front straight. Urrghhhhh again!
I re-pass Michel on the outside of T3 again as he approaches lapped traffic. He slowed for the lapped traffic and I stayed on the gas. That was a pretty easy pass because Michel checked up for the lapped racer.
And finally, right in the middle of the long front straight, Michel goes by me at the 8:18 mark - pure horsepower. Now I am really starting to hate Michel (not really, Michel is a nice guy in the pits, but I am really disliking him on the track )
What really bugged me was I was faster through T2-T3-T4-T5-T6-T7-T8-T9-T10, but I just couldn't get it done on the front straight (lack of horsepower) or hard on the brakes (he was better than me on the brakes) into T1. If you watch the parts where I am leading, I usually gapped him through the twisty sections of the racetrack, then Michel pulled me on the straight.
I need more horsepower.
Anyways, I finished 3rd, Michel got 2nd.
