Newb to Forum and ZX-14
03/17/09 8:09 AM

Hello to all!

I picked up a new '08 ZX-14 (silver) 2 weeks ago!! Great Machine!

Here's a little bit about me: I live in Florida, I'm 58 years old, been riding bikes all my life, had all sorts of bikes including an H2 and some other Ninja's and a rare Bridgestone 50 when I was a kid.

Anyway, I'm lovin the ZX-14, I'm still breaking it in, I have installed a Scott's Damper, have a Speedo Healer V4, PCIII usb Power Commander in hand and the Muzzy M14 Full Exhaust System ordered that will be here tomorrow.

I have a thing for speed that people tell me I will grow out of, well, it ain't happened yet, hence the ZX-14.

I'm looking forward to picking up all the info I can on my new machine and discussing interests with like minds that I know I can find on this Forum.

Have a good one all,
Marty

Hi, Marty, and welcome to the forum.

Your humble servant is aged 63, and there are several other old farts here as well <grin>. I hear you about the need for speed. Just be careful -- especially with this machine.

Thanks bg, good to know that there are several others here with the age "experience" as us!

Thanks jafo, where in Florida did you get your 14? A lap of Florida could take a couple days, did you get up to the Northern parts any?

I am fortunate enough to be up here and have lived in the Southern regions as well. The roads actually have turns in them up here!
