Dainese two piece for around town and some back road.

Advantage two piece, slip off the jacket when you pull into Starbutts!

unfortunately what i wear is largely weather dependant....one of the downsides with living in Gods own country!
2 piece leathers for sunny ish, warm ish, dry ish days summer days!
leather jacket and kevlar jeans for short spins into town for coffee and checking out the talent!
2 piece leathers carrying a rain suit for long summer spins!
textile for winter, autumn and spring and any other time it might rain between the showers!

yes, there really is a town called Felch. I grew up not knowing what felch meant. Unfortunately, now I do but at least I now can appreciate the irony of this. I guess those old miners that settled back in the area back in 1880 had a sense of humor (kind of).

I'll do that Bean, take pics on my next trip. Unfortunately I'm in North Texas now, nice farm country about and lots of lakes but Central Texas down around Austin is much more scenic. West of Austin the Hill Country begins, beautiful riding. Looks a lot like your neck of the woods there in OZ.

BTW Bean, Jafo came all the way from Ireland to visit us back when I lived in San Antonio. He was going to ride across the US, coast to coast in the winter. That was back in '07, cold wet winter for us.

Jafo, that pic reminds me I need to check upon Tommy, last I heard he was very sick with double kidney failure. Was waiting on a transplant, hadn't heard from him in over a year, hope he's OK. We never know just how much time we have.

Bean, I want to do the IOM TT, we tried last year but accommodations on the island are near impossible. Any other time of the year, there's plenty of hotels available. If you come to Texas we'll do a hill country tour. Best barbecue there in the entire world (except for Aussie barbecue of course)!

Hub, a shrug would suffice, methinks. I do that a lot it seems. Once in the elevator at the office I had all my stuff on and a friendly coworker told me that I 'looked huge'. True enough, I am not small to begin with (6'2", 240). I'm sure I did look huge.

I look huge? Shrug. Fair enough. You probably DID look scary. Fair enough. Shrug. Yes, and so what.

when i talk of my ride to texas, i always say i went to see my buddies i hadnt met yet! you guys treated me like a mate even though you didnt know me.......says alot!

I'll try to reach him tomorrow, it's been over a year now since I last heard from him. I'll let you know how he's doing.

Jafo, it doesn't sound good, I sent Tommy an email and no response. I checked on Facebook and his last post was December, 2010. A couple of people have posted on his wall asking how he's doing and no replies. I'll call his business tomorrow and see if I can get some answers.
