SLOWNINJA
05/02/09 12:27 PM

Hell, why not?

Real name is David, I've lived in Oklahoma City all my life. I'm 23 years old, and a single father (with full custody) to a 7 month old girl. I'm a heavy duty mechanic for a construction company, working on semi's, cranes, forklifts, pickups, just about anything that needs worked on.

I bought my 14 almost 2 years ago. I've only been riding for about 2 1/2 years. I've been drag racing since the first weekend after i turned 16 (friends mom was a notary, forged the parental release so i could race lol).

I bought a house about 2 1/2 years ago here in OKC. Been workin at the same job for 4 1/2 years, the one before that i had worked for 6 years. Moved out into an apartment on my own at the age of 18, graduated high school and never even thought about college.

Don't know what else to tell ya. I like to go fast.. Thats about it lol

Already knew the story but I like it so much I had to read over again. You are a one man army, Slow. Kudos on the child raising. Hope she's sleeping well for you at night. Sounds like you deserve a break now and then. She's lucky to have you for a daddy.

She sleeps quite well at night. Takes her a bit to get to sleep (like right now, with her nap lol) and she screams and cries for about 5 or 10 minutes.. Then she's out like a light and sleeps all night. Tough at first, but certainly worth it for her to learn the independence thing. I've known too many parents who cuddle their kids to sleep... And they have to keep doing it through 3 or 4 years old.

Slow I was stationed at Fort Sill back in 2000-2003 and plan to go back in the future. I was part of Pleasures car and truck club but since then got out of the sport truck scene and into drag racing bikes. Were gonna have to hook up whenever I get that way again to head to the track.

We haven't heard from Slowninja in years chrly but I think the ZX-16 would have been something he was planning for 2010. I wonder if he ever did it?

It would sure be great to hear from this guy again.
