I am also a WERA Expert roadracer. No, I do not race my ZX14. I race a 2009 and a 2008 Yamaha R6. You can take your ZX14 to a track day, but 600 sized to 1000 cc sized sport bikes, naked bikes, two-strokes, and sport tourers are more likely to be on the track than a ZX14. The ZX14 is a little big for serious track day riding, but the ZX14 is fine if you'd like to try out some track days. If you keep coming back to do track days, you will likely get a track-dedicated bike along the lines of a 600 to 1000 cc bike.

A lot of you put a lot of money into your bikes. Why not come out to a track day and invest some time/money into learning the proper techniques to ride your bike better than you ever thought possible. Trust me, you will learn more in one day on a race track than I could teach you in a year. Best of all, it is the most fun you will ever have outside the bedroom!
